Acai Bowls

Acai bowls are a great way to snack during the day, begin your day with a healthy breakfast, or get some quick fuel between workouts. These bowls are great not only for meeting your daily omega fatty acid requirements, but they will also satisfy your hunger for hours while giving you sustained energy through out the day. Not to mention, they'll keep your taste buds coming back for more!

Acai Muesli:
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup milk
1 tsp essential fatty acids
Splash of acai juice/puree
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1 Tbsp honey
1 cup lowfat yogurt (any flavor)
1-2 apples, peeled and grated

Combine oats, milk, honey, acai juice/puree, and EFA's into a bowl and let soak overnight in the fridge. The next morning, add the chopped almonds, apples, and yogurt. Stir and enjoy!
